A Pin Frog or Kenzan is used in Japanese Ikebana flower arranging. It has a heavy base with nail like vertical pins in which the flowers and natural materials are arranged.
With a silcon bottom cap it is not only very stable and can accommodate tall arrangements and is also useful in vases and containers where the benefits of arrangement and water absorption become apparent; but will prevent any marks on vases or table tops.
